The aim of this framework is to ensure the provision of highway maintenance gangs, comprising labour, vehicle, and appropriate plant and equipment, in order to work independently on highway maintenance tasks, under the general supervision of the NY Highways Ltd.'s staff. This will supplement in-house Highway Maintenance Gang resources during periods when the NY Highways Ltd faces additional demand. NY Highways is a wholly-owned subsidiary of North Yorkshire County Council. NY Highways will commence operations as North Yorkshire County Council's Highways Maintenance Contractor from 1st June 2021. Lot 1: Lot 1: Richmondshire and Hambleton This framework is to provide highway maintenance gangs, comprising labour, vehicle, and appropriate plant and equipment, in order to work independently on highway maintenance tasks. This will supplement in-house Highway Maintenance Gang resources during periods when the NY Highways Ltd faces additional demand. The framework contains 4 lots based on geographical location. Each lot will have a maximum of 3 suppliers. Suppliers may bid for one or more lots. There is no limit to the number of lots a supplier can be awarded to. NY Highways is a wholly-owned subsidiary of North Yorkshire County Council. NY Highways will commence operations as North Yorkshire County Council’s Highways Maintenance Contractor from 1st June 2021. Lot 2: Lot 2: Scarborough and Ryedale This framework is to provide highway maintenance gangs, comprising labour, vehicle, and appropriate plant and equipment, in order to work independently on highway maintenance tasks. This will supplement in-house Highway Maintenance Gang resources during periods when the NY Highways Ltd faces additional demand. The framework contains 4 lots based on geographical location. Each lot will have a maximum of 3 suppliers. Suppliers may bid for one or more lots. There is no limit to the number of lots a supplier can be awarded to.
