Description

Vestvågøy Kommune (Vestvågøy municipality) will build a new multi-purpose hall with a gym and changing rooms at the existing sports and swimming facility (Lekneshallen) at Leknes. The new hall and changing rooms will be an addition to the existing facility. The existing facility is protected under the Cultural Memorial Plan for Lofoten. Nordland Fylkeskommune (Nordland County) has approved the designed addition. The new sports hall will have an activity surface of 25 m x 45 m plus a gym and changing rooms and have a total surface of GFA 1886 m2. The changing rooms section will be built over two floors and stairwells go down to Level U. The total GFA will be 2 500.5 m2. The main volume (the sports hall) will have a load-bearing system made of timber with steel roofing sheets, while the changing room section connecting the new construction and the existing facility will be made of concrete with steel roofing sheets. The measure is subject to application according to the Planning and Building Act. The project is in enterprise classification 3. The procurement will be implemented in accordance with the Public Procurement Act dated 17 June 2016 (LOA) and the Public Procurement Regulations (FOA) PPR 2016-08-12-974, part III and the provisions in this document.
