Description

The Geographical Survey of Norway (NGU) hereby requests price offers for the hire of an AS350 helicopter with a pilot for geophysical surveys in Austria within the EU financed research project GREENPEG. The provisional estimate for helicopter hours is 50-60 hours in July/August 2022. Experience shows that the normal production is on average approx. 5 hours a day, which gives approx. 10 - 12 days with flights. Good weather conditions can increase the daily production. Bad weather conditions and/or atmospheric magnetic interference can prevent surveys. Tenders must be submitted digitally via the Mercell eTender System Portal. (https://eu.eu-supply.com/) at the latest by 15 June 2022, 12:00 CET. Questions about the tender process can be sent to the geophysics section manager: Marco Brönner, telephone 73 90 44 75 / 486 07 696, email: marco.bronner@ngu.no Lot 1: The Geographical Survey of Norway (NGU) hereby requests price offers for the hire of an AS350 helicopter with a pilot for geophysical surveys in Austria within the EU financed research project GREENPEG. The provisional estimate for the helicopter flight hours is approx. 50 - 60 hours. The operation will be carried out by one helicopter, which will fly with a 'nose-boom' of 870 cm mounted on the underbody of the helicopter. The 'nose-boom' has a magnetic sensor and the accompanying electronics. Another instrument for radiometric surveys is fixed inside the helicopter together with all of the instruments for data registration (mounted in a stand) behind the co-pilot's seat. The back left hand seat must therefore be removed. An extra monitor for navigation along flight paths will be mounted by and in the line of sight of the pilot. The total weight of all the instruments in the helicopter is approx. 50 kg. The equipment will be delivered by the company terratec Geophysical Services GmbH & Co. KG, a project partner in the research project, based in Germany. The terratec operator will be on board during production. All the surveys will be carried out along predefined flight paths. The helicopter is to fly normally at a speed of 70 - 80 km/h and a height of 30 - 40 m above ground. The line distance will be 50 metres. The profile direction will be decided by the local geographical and topographical conditions. The pilot will receive flight information on speed, height, distances, and line progress on a separate monitor. Tenders must be submitted digitally via the Mercell eTender System Portal. (https://eu.eu-supply.com/) at the latest by 15 June 2022, 12:00 CET.
