Contract award notice regarding the procurement of oil spill response equipment. The purpose of this procurement is to procure oil spill response equipment at nine quay facilities operated by Forsvaret [the Norwegian Armed Forces]. The oil spill response equipment will prevent, detect, stop and/or limit the effect of oil leaks at sea and on land. The oil spill response equipment will cover the need for first-line emergency preparedness materials. This means that the oil spill response equipment will constitute the emergency preparedness, and in the event of major incidents, other actors will assist. The oil spill response equipment must contain among other things launching unit, booms to prevent and/or limit spreading on the water surface, and absorbants that will limit and remove oil spills on water and on land. Lot 1: The purpose of this procurement is to procure oil spill response equipment at nine quay facilities operated by Forsvaret [the Norwegian Armed Forces]. The oil spill response equipment will prevent, detect, stop and/or limit the effect of oil leaks at sea and on land. The oil spill response equipment will cover the need for first-line emergency preparedness materials. This means that the oil spill response equipment will constitute the emergency preparedness, and in the event of major incidents, other actors will assist. The contract duration will be from contract signing and until the service is delivered. The project duration is anticipated to be up until 31.12.2022.
