Description

Hebridean Housing Partnership (HHP) is seeking to establish a multi lot, multi supplier framework to deliver its Investment Works programme for 2023 – 2027. HHP intend to appoint up to a maximum five contractors per Lot of the framework. The framework geographical delivery locations are: Lewis, Harris, Uists and Barra. The framework covers the following types of work across 18 lots: - Windows & Doors - Heating - Bathrooms - Kitchens - Roofing & Roughcast - Electrical - Environmental - Occupational Therapy - Energy Efficiency Lot 1: Windows & Door Replacement - Lewis & Harris Covers the replacement of window, doors, roof windows and store doors etc. Scope includes: - Survey - Coordinate and undertake survey at site minimising disruption and inconvenience to tenants - Design - Design and agree installations (where appropriate) to HHP specifications, standards and with the tenant where specified - Procure & Supply - Procure to HHP standards, specifications and or agreed equivalents - Install - Install and make good as appropriate - Commissioning - Commission any new equipment - Defects & Maintenance - Manage and make good any defects and undertake maintenance of any required equipment within the specified 52 week period. Lot 2: Heating Replacement Works - Lewis & Harris Covers the removal of existing heating system (either solid fuel or electric storage/ convector) and subsequent replacement with Air Source Heat Pump heating, hot water and distribution system. Scope includes: - Survey - Coordinate and undertake survey at site minimising disruption and inconvenience to tenants - Design - Design and agree installations (where appropriate) to HHP specifications, standards and with the tenant where specified - Procure & Supply - Procure to HHP standards, specifications and or agreed equivalents - Install - Install and make good as appropriate - Commissioning - Commission any new equipment - including 3 visits to each tenant to train them in the understanding of the heating system - Defects & Maintenance - Manage and make good any defects and undertake maintenance of any required equipment within the specified 52 week period Lot 3: Bathroom Replacement Works - Lewis & Harris Covers the replacement of sanitary ware, installation of new over-bath shower with water-proof tile effect panels around bath, new consumer unit (if required), replacement of light fitting, decoration to walls and ceiling, new extractor fan and replacement of floor covering. Scope includes: - Survey - Coordinate and undertake survey at site minimising disruption and inconvenience to tenants - Design - Design and agree installations (where appropriate) to HHP specifications, standards and with the tenant where specified - Procure & Supply - Procure to HHP standards, specifications and or agreed equivalents - Install - Install and make good as appropriate - Commissioning - Commission any new equipment - Defects & Maintenance - Manage and make good any defects and undertake maintenance of any required equipment within the specified 52 week period. Lot 4: Kitchen Replacement - Lewis & Harris Covers the replacement of kitchen units to new layout, accommodation of all white goods, new electrical sockets and switches, replacement of wall and ceiling coverings/ paint and replacement of vinyl flooring. Tenant chooses kitchen units, worktops, wallpaper or paint and vinyl. Scope includes: - Survey - Coordinate and undertake survey at site minimising disruption and inconvenience to tenants - Design - Design and agree installations (where appropriate) to HHP specifications, standards and with the tenant where specified - Procure & Supply - Procure to HHP standards, specifications and or agreed equivalents - Install- Install and make good as appropriate - Commissioning - Commission any new equipment - Defects & Maintenance - Manage and make good any defects and undertake maintenance of any required equipment within the specified 52 week period. Lot 5: Roofing & Roughcast Works - Lewis & Harris Covers the removal of existing roof covering, battens, counter battens, gutters, lead and fascias and their subsequent replacement to HHP specification (incl. new felt). Roughcast covers the power-washing to existing walls. New roughcast to be applied over existing with existing drip-checks retained. Any skews and wall copes to be replaced. Fencing covers for new low level timber palisade fencing. Scope includes: - Survey - Coordinate and undertake survey at site minimising disruption and inconvenience to tenants - Design - Design and agree installations (where appropriate) to HHP specifications, standards and with the tenant where specified - Procure & Supply - Procure to HHP standards, specifications and or agreed equivalents - Install- Install and make good as appropriate - Commissioning - Commission any new equipment - Defects & Maintenance - Manage and make good any defects and undertake maintenance of any required equipment within the specified 52 week period Lot 6: Electrical Works - Lewis & Harris Covers the first time installation of external bulkhead light fittings, replacement of carbon monoxide detectors and smoke detectors, partial house re-wire and full house re-wire. Scope includes: - Survey - Coordinate and undertake survey at site minimising disruption and inconvenience to tenants - Design - Design and agree installations (where appropriate) to HHP specifications, standards and with the tenant where specified - Procure & Supply - Procure to HHP standards, specifications and or agreed equivalents - Install - Install and make good as appropriate - Commissioning - Commission any new equipment - Defects & Maintenance - Manage and make good any defects and undertake maintenance of any required equipment within the specified 52 week period Lot 18: Bathroom, Kitchen & Heating Installation Works - All Areas Covers larger programmes of work in relation to installation of bathrooms, kitchens and heating replacements. Programmes will not necessarily cover all three elements and may be restricted to a single element as applicable.
