Asbestos Surveys

Description

Housing 21 is completing a tender for asbestos services, Housing 21 has approximate 300 schemes and the appointed asbestos surveying contractors would have nationwide coverage and is contracted to carry out all asbestos management surveys, refurbishment & demolition (R&D) and annual inspections for all courts as required. To improve ongoing asbestos compliance the specification has been updated to include the capability for the contractor to work with our new compliance system, True Compliance and feed certificates directly into the True Compliance. Bidders must bid for both regions (north and south) but only be successful for one region. Bidders will be chosen based on the highest cost and quality submissions. The contract term is 5 years. The approximate contract value has been increased to £1.8 million to reflect Housing 21 aspirational growth ambitions. ## Contract award
