Kier Utilities are seeking to broaden our supply chain for Openreach fibre optic network construction following the award of major new works. This is the third award Kier have secured from Openreach in the past 18 months, and our teams are already busy building superfast broadband in Wiltshire, Hampshire and Berkshire. All of this work supports Openreach's ambitions of reaching 25 million premises over the next five years. We are working with the top three broadband providers; Openreach, CityFibre and Virgin Media to transform the digital infrastructure in the UK. This opportunity is for suppliers and partners that can build a network with Kier for our partner Openreach and take part in this exciting ITT The tender pack will include a full service handbook, cluster maps as well as the full rate card which is included for all activities We intend to issue large civils packages that could cover all South (Hampshire, Berkshire) locations or partial as well as offer a full turnkey solution in all or separate lots. Kier request that you as the supplier, at tender stage, specify the exact interest and make your rate submissions based on capability. Openreach operate Smart Awards for all employees working on the network. Training school places can be facilitated if required. Kier is Openreach's ONSA Prime Partner for Hampshire and Berkshire. Following successful application on CompeteFor, our Head of Procurement will conduct a direct tender process with submissions due 30th August. We are searching for a wide range of skills within the Telecoms arena such as Civil Engineers, splicing, poling etc Kier Utilities delivers network construction and maintenance services in water, gas, power and telecommunications across the UK, covering the whole life cycle of essential infrastructure. Kier maintains long standing and successful partnerships with many of the UK's telecoms, power and water companies and is currently working in partnership with clients including Openreach, Virgin Media, Cityfibre, Anglian Water, Scottish Water, Severn Trent Water, South West Water, Yorkshire Water, Western Power Distribution, Firmus Natural Gas, Phoenix Natural Gas and, UK Power Networks to deliver a range of services including complex civils projects and service connections.
