Centurion Licenses and Support SYP HP

Description

Centurion is the Complaints and Discipline System used within Professional Standard departments at both Humberside and South Yorkshire Police. The system is used to record matters such as Business Interests, gratuities and complaints. Force Information Systems (FIS) are the software providers of Centurion and as such are the only source of expertise and technical skills required to support the system. Although alternative systems are available on the market the Centurion software is one of the leading in this area and already well embedded within both Forces. Both Professional Standards departments have recently upgraded to the latest versions of the software and invested in health checks with FIS who have fed back ways of improving the use of the system moving forward. In addition there has been no desire to move away from Centurion as the cost of implementing a new system, training relevant staff and competing data migration is prohibitive at this time. This is a 3 year contract, via Insight Direct (UK) Ltd through the WYCA IT framework.
