Future forecasting has identified the requirement(s) for specialised expertise and scalability in order to respond to the evolving Defence Forces network, as well as Cyber threats, software advancements, and interoperability standards with partner nations. Professional ICT Services offer access to cutting-edge technologies, cyber security solutions and 24/7 support structures. These services can enhance operational readiness, streamline administrative processes, and ensure compliance with national and EU data protection and defence policies. Additionally, outsourcing select ICT functions allows Defence Forces personnel to focus on core military tasks while ensuring that critical systems are maintained and future-proofed by industry experts. ICT Services will need to be provide in a variety of locations namely McKee Bks Dublin, Baldonnel Airbase Dublin and Naval Service in Cork.
