No. of Suppliers to Evaluate 6 Proposal Criteria • Value for Money • Ability to deliver design solution on time • Work as a team with our organisation • Estimated timeframes for the work Cultural Fit Criteria • •Strong team working experience with the ability to think and problem solve independently • •Strong experience working as part of an agile team participating in daily stand up and retrospectives • •Engaging with team to create an environment for knowledge sharing and handover of completed products with knowledge transfer • •Excellent written and communication skills with the ability to translate complex issues to a non-technical audience • •Strong ownership and commitment to delivery • •Good collaboration skills and ability to share skills and information among team members • •Ability to build and develop good working relationships with staff and stakeholders Payment Approach Fixed price Evaluation Weighting Technical competence 60% Cultural fit 10% Price 30% Questions from Suppliers 1. Our members of staff are BPSS vetted, please can you confirm if NVPP2 vetting needs to be sponsored by a Police authority, and if so, would BPSS be sufficient until NVPP2 can be applied for? We require staff that are already cleared to NPPV2 or above. 2. You say fixed price but there is no mention of scope. Will you accept ranged costs? The first stage of submission is to measure suppliers against the criteria. After shortlisting we shall be inviting suppliers to one of our sites to brief them on the design work and scope of the project. This should allow for enough information for a fixed priced proposal. 3. Looking at this nice to have skill - Strong experience of applying College of Policing UX Design standards against branding guidelines and style guide - are we to understand you would prefer to work with an existing supplier that has already worked with College of Policing branding? Working with a supplier already familiar with College branding and UX design concepts is an advantage but not essential hence why it is a desirable criteria. 4. Can you provide a PDF or link to the College of Policing travel and subsistence policy, please? We shall be happy to provide the College of Policing travel and subsistence policy after the first shortlist and before when details fixed price proposals are submitted. 5. Can you provide some insight into the locations specific to this project and perhaps an indication of potential travel frequency, please? Our assumption is a minimum of one site visit per sprint (10 days) for the first 2-4 sprints, then shifting to video calls and a monthly face-to-face. I would estimate 1 face-to-face meeting every 10 days (per sprint) either in Harrogate, Ryton or London as minimum until delivery due to the volume of design work involved. 6. Based on the completion date of March 31st, our plan would be for a high degree of collaboration with CoP's internal team (at least initially). Do you have a provisional schedule in place to create availability for them, particularly in the run-up to the December break? Thanks. Yes, we have a dedicated Product Owner and members from the Membership Team who will be engaged throughout the project
