Road transport services

Description

Drammen municipality shall enter into a framework agreement with 1 service provider to cover the municipality's need for bus transport. The contract will be valid for all entities and companies in the municipality. Buses are used for various contracting authority activities, e.g. school camps, excursions, activity days, study trips for both pupils and employees. The activities are for varying lengths, but are normally completed each day. Several schools/nurseries/units can require transport at the same time. There can be a need to transport all the school's pupils (up to 600 persons) at the same time for some very special events. The contracting authority therefore requires that the service provider has access to several buses. Attention is drawn to the fact that daily bus transport of pupils to and from schools in the municipality, amongst other things, is not included in this contract.
