Tender to establish through a formal contract, the acceptance, processing and recycling of mixed hard/rigid plastics arising from domestic properties, disposed of through 5 HRCs. Flintshire County Council operate in-house, 5 Household Recycling Centres (HRCs) located throughout the County.The objective of the tender is to select the most economical option for the recovery of the Council’s mixed hard/rigid plastic waste arising, whilst maximising recycling/reuse opportunities.The key elements to the tender for the tenderer to consider:Disposal route/s – with a view to maximising recovery opportunities (through reuse and recycling)Haulage options – maintaining optimum efficiency for the Council by providing flexible and cost-effective haulage optionsPricing will be:£/tonne recycling outlet£/tonne haulage and/or £/load haulage (including skip provision)The Council is seeking a contract for the recycling / recovery of up to 500 tonnes per annum of rigid plastic over a period of 12 months with the option to extend for a further 24 months upon review.NOTE: To register your interest in this notice and obtain any additional information please visit the Sell2Wales Web Site at https://www.sell2wales.gov.wales/Search/Search_Switch.aspx?ID=155167. Now click “Complete Registration” and you will enter the Supplier Network page.14. On the centre of the screen click “Opportunities”. This will take you to the list of current opportunities available to you.15. In the “Your Opportunities” screen please note the closing time and date for completion of the relevant project.
