Lightning Protection System Testing, Chimney Inspections & Associated Works

Description

The contract is for the provision for lightning protection system testing, chimney inspections and associated remedial works. It will initially cover 54 HMPS establishments in Wales, Southern England and the East Midlands, although this contract may be offered to other Ministry of Justice areas, post-award, that may have a requirement in the future. The lightning protection system testing will consist of an annual visit, at a pre agreed date between site and contractor, to conduct the testing of the system as per current legislation/guidelines. The chimney inspections will consist of an annual visit (or as required), at a pre agreed date between site and contractor, to conduct the inspections as per current legislation/guidelines. The contract is expected to commence on 22nd November 2008 and last for 4 years.
