Service of the site Gate monitoring system

Description

As of January 2025, the system initial 12-month parts warranty, that covers manufacturing defects and workmanship for all hardware supplied by Symetrica Security Ltd. will expire and Symetrica recommends the uptake of a service and support contract along with the purchase of a locally stored set of useable spare parts to allow the Sellafield Maintenance team to deliver first and second line support to the system on the understanding that Sellafield staff maintain a level of technical training on the system and its software. A spare parts provisioning offer is being made separately to this service proposal. Symetrica is offering the following service solution to provide remote and site response services to support the customer support provided by Sellafield technical staff. The Annual servicing of this system was NOT undertaken in 2025 due to security passes & weather implications. SGMS is the Site Gate Monitoring System (They prevent theft of nuclear material from the site.) ## Contract award
