Geo-Environmental Desk Studies are preliminary risk assessments required to determine the presence of site constraints and risks within an identified area. The desk study will help ensure the design and delivery of development works is completed in a responsible way, in accordance with Land Contamination Risk Management (www.gov.uk) and Eurocode 7: Geotechnical Design EN 1997-2. The information provided by Geo-Environmental Desk Studies will assist with the planning and scheduling of activities, helping to ensure programme commitments are met.
