Design, Supply and Install Modular Classroom Extension at Eastwood High School

East Renfrewshire Council invited tenders, from suitably qualified companies to design, supply and install a new detached modular classroom building within the grounds at Eastwood High School. This procurement was conducted via the Public Contracts Scotland - Tender portal (PCS-T). We applied a one stage Open procedure. Bidders were asked to self-certify their adherence to the conditions of participation via the SPD (Scotland) in PSC-T, and may be required to submit Means of Proof before contract award. Bidders must refer to the specific requirements listed in Section III in this OJEU Contract Notice when completing the SPD in PCS-T. The Value shown in this notice is excluding VAT Lot 1: Lot 1 for 4 classroom modular building and associated infrastructure works East Renfrewshire Council invited tenders, from suitably qualified companies to design, supply and install a new detached modular classroom building within the grounds at Eastwood High School. The bidders were advised that the amount of funding is uncertain at present however it is very likely that there will be sufficient funds for the 3 classroom option. If more funding is approved the Council would prefer to provide 4 classrooms. In light of the above, the Council has decided to advertise the requirement as 2 Lots as follows: 1. Lot 1 for 4 classroom modular building and associated infrastructure works 2. Lot 2 for 3 classroom modular building and associated infrastructure works Each option will have separate tender documents such as a set of Employers Requirements with Preliminaries, Schedule of works, Form of Tender, Outline Specification and set of Tender Drawings. The bidders may choose to price either one Lot or both Lots. Each lot will be separately evaluated for for technical and commercials. However, the Council will only award to one successful supplier on one of the two option Lots dependent on funding approval.. Economic operators may be excluded from this competition if they are in any of the situations referred to in regulation 8 and 9 of the Procurement (Scotland) Regulations 2016.
