South Lanarkshire Council have a requirement to undertake a Negotiated Procedure under Standing Order 10 of the Council's Standing Orders on Contracts for the provision of Care at Home Services. The award of this contract under the Negotiated Tendering Procedure can be justified under Standing Order 10.4a of the Council’s Standing Orders on Contracts for the following reasons:- i) In the opinion of the Executive Director the needs of the individual(s) concerned would be best met by a particular Provider; and v) Where the service user wishes in terms of the National Strategy on Self Directed Support to arrange services with a particular Provider but wishes the Council to arrange this on his behalf The contract term will be from 18 September 2023 – 17 July 2029.
