To provide catering services at West Heath Primary School, Rednal Road, Birmingham B38 8HU Lot 1: West Heath Primary School are looking for a catering contractor to partner with them to provide a catering service at this primary school in Birmingham. There are currently over 400 pupils on roll age range 3-11 years. West Heath Primary School value the provision of a quality catering service for its pupils and staff and see this an essential part of the welfare policy at the School. They wish to build on their past success in increasing uptake and seek innovative ideas to further enhance the service provision and embrace the School Food Plan. The emphasis for the service is on quality and range of food coupled with communication links with the School to promote the catering service as an essential part of the pupil experience. Environmental and sustainability issues are a key consideration to the way in which the School’s meal provision service is managed; innovative management that includes effective staff training, menus using fresh ingredients and sustainably sourced ingredients
