Provision of 15 to 21 Adult functional acute beds in the Lancashire footprint. With appropriate consideration given to the delivering of care closest to home, adopting a whole system approach. Either sole provider or lead provider model are sort. The Adult Acute provision will be for individuals known to Lancashire Care Foundation Trust with a wide range of mental health issues who are experiencing a mental health crisis that cannot be managed at home and are in need of an inpatient acute admission for either a male or female bed”. It is anticipated that LCFT will look to confirm an award by the end of April 2018 with first admissions to begin concurrently.
