North Lanarkshire Council are seeking to procure independent support for birth parents who no longer have care of their children both in the short and the long term. The need for support is broad reaching, from unresolved grief, impact on mental and physical health, social challenges such as housing, isolation, stigma and feelings of shame, addiction and affecting relationships with others.
