Modular directional wave measuring Instrumentation for use on MetOcean Buoy systems

Description

The Marine Institute, a semi State body, wishes to invite tenders under an open procedure with the objective of putting a Single Supplier Framework Agreement in place for the supply of modular directional wave measuring Instrumentation for use on MetOcean Buoy systems as part of the Irish Marine Data Buoy Observation Network (IMDBON), any agreement will run for a maximum of 4 years. At present a requirement exists for the Supply of modular directional wave measuring Instrumentation for use on MetOcean Buoy systems as part of the Irish Marine Data Buoy Observation Network (IMDBON). IMDBON reports in hourly observations of various weather and oceanographic parameters. Included in this suite of data are measurements describing the wave climate. To date, wave sensors deployed in the payload have been of both modular (standalone) and integrated type. This ITT concerns a requirement to source wave monitoring equipment that is standalone from other payload elements, but that will be supplied with power and data will be read in to an data acquisition, processing, storage and data transmission system as appropriate.
