COLLECTION, PROCESSING AND RECYCLING / RECOVERY OF PLASTERBOARD FROM RECYCLING CENTRES

Description

Mid Ulster District Council currently operates a three bin collection system for all households in the district. They are Residual Waste (Black Bin), Mixed Dry Recyclables (Blue Bin) and Biodegradable Waste (Brown Bin). The following materials are also accepted at the Councils HWRC’s for recycling: o Paper/cardboard o Glass o Green (garden) waste o Wood / Timber o Construction and demolition waste o Scrap metal o Waste Electronic and Electrical Equipment (WEEE) o Batteries o Textiles o Plasterboard o Hard plastics o Waste oils o Waste paint o Road Sweepings (from Council cleansing activities only) This tender deals with the collection, processing and recycling / recovery of plasterboard collected at a number of the Councils Recycling Centres. Tenderers should satisfy themselves as to the nature of the material before submitting a tender.
