Description

IADT is seeking tenders for the supply, installation and configuration of a 180° Immersive Space at IADT. IADT intends creating a 180° immersive space - also known as an projection mapping space - to be used by staff and students for collaborative training, to aid and enhance students’ comprehension and competence in their field of study, as well as for use for events and executive leadership meetings. • This half-cylindrical space will ideally be 6m in width and depth and no taller than 3m • To enhance the learning process students must be able to explore subjects beyond the traditional classroom setting, such as: • Virtual trips to museums, historical sites and natural habitats in addition to virtual location scouting, design, modelling, gaming, scene simulation and theatre production • Graduate show work, communication skills enhancement and cultural education • Technical presentations and safety training
