Measured Term Contract for Controlled Door Entry Systems and Associated Works 2020

Description

This is direct award, following the publication of a voluntary ex ante transparency (VEAT) notice to advise that North Lanarkshire Council has entered into a contract with SPIE Scotshield Limited, Rutherglen Links, Glasgow, G73 1DF to undertake the maintenance and repair of controlled door entry systems for Council-owned housing, including vulnerable tenants. The contract has a value of 175,000 GBP. The contract period will be for a period of 9 months. The Council’s duty of care towards its tenants and potentially its wider responsibilities under various statutory regimes (health and safety, building control) may be engaged or compromised if this work does not proceed.
