March BMX Pump Track

Description

Funding will be used to build a purpose-built pump track. The money will pay for all plant, materials and labour from getting the site at West End park from a flat field to a finished ROSPA inspected, approved facility. The facility which will be built from dirt and asphalt is a gateway to developing a lifelong interest in a sport - not only cycling but also other wheeled sports like skateboarding, scooters roller skating and wheelchairs. The track will offer an affordable low barrier to entry facility, whilst encouraging cycling participation, developing cycle skills and rider confidence all in a safe controlled environment.
