Description

Vestvågøy Municipality is announcing a year-round offer for education with activities for settled refugees, immigrants and asylum seekers for a 2-year period from 1 August 2020 to 31 July 2022, with an option for 1 year + 1 year + 1 year. The tender includes education for the following groups: Teaching in Norwegian, with social studies and other qualifying measures for settled refugees and immigrants in the age group 16 to 67 years who are covered by the provisions in the Introduction Act. Secondary school learning for adults. Teaching in Norwegian for asylum seekers who are settled in reception centres in the municipality, including asylum seekers who are entitled to 175 hours of asylum Norwegian, and those who have been granted a residency permit and start directly with Norwegian with social studies. There are no asylum reception centres in the municipality per January 2020. Planning and holding mock tests for obligatory tests in Norwegian and social studies in accordance with the Introduction Act's provisions and Kompetanse Norge's guidelines. This includes adapted tests. Offer self-financed Norwegian learning for those who are obliged to take this offer in accordance with the Introduction Act §17.3.
