This service specification relates to the procurement of an integrated Drug & Alcohol Engagement, Treatment & Recovery Service for adults and young people (under 18s) in Croydon. The new service will provide person centred care, using a trauma based approach, with a focus on an individual’s strengths and recovery capital to support sustained recovery. The service will include all drug and alcohol treatment modalities as defined by: NTA (2006) Models of care for treatment of adult drug misusers: Update 20061 and align with all relevant guidelines, legislation and policy which includes (but is not limited to) The National Drug Strategy 20172 and Drug Misuse and Dependence: UK guidelines on clinical management3
