Description

Kent County Council is running a soft market testing exercise to understand future options for delivering post mortem services. Post-mortem services are presently provided by invasive post mortem procedures through pathologists through Kent coroners service. The Council invites interest from suppliers of digital autopsy services and seeks to understand the scope and nature of services that can be supplied by the market. Service providers who are interested in participating are invited to contact the Council by via the Kent Business Portal by no later than 15.00 Friday 29th November with an expression of interest and a high level overview of the services that can be provided. The Council is considering future delivery models for the provision of post-mortem services and seeks to establish whether it can enhance the service provided to Kent residents through the provision on non-invasive digital autopsy. Meetings will be arranged with interested suppliers who express an interest to participate by the deadline stated. It is anticipated that these meetings will explore options for the scope, capacity and delivery models for potential solutions.
