Description

SSEN Distribution (“SSEN-D”) intends to install and commission subsea cable assets including both planned and expected fault replacement projects Lot 1: Lot 1 - All Work This lot includes for completed the feasibility design, prior to awarding the works to the Contractor. The Contractor will be responsible for completing the works including conducting route surveys, supporting the consenting process, providing detailed design, cable supply (at the discretion of SHEPD), cable installation and protection, onshore construction works, testing, commissioning and handover. Lot 2: Lot 2 - Planned Cable Replacement On this lot prior to the works, SHEPD will have completed the feasibility, route surveys and detailed design. The submarine cable will be free issued to the Contractor. The Contractor will be required to support the consenting process, install the marine cable, provide onshore construction works, cable testing, commissioning and handover. Lot 3: Lot 3 - Fault replacement On this lot prior to the works, SHEPD will have completed the feasibility, route survey and detailed design. The submarine cable will be free issued (where required) to the Contractor. The Contractor will be required to support the consenting process, carry out rectification, repair or installation activities, provide onshore construction works, cable testing, commissioning and handover
