Description

The provision of the services of removing the ex-Voith monopile and returning the site to a condition approved by EMEC, the Crown Estate and Marine Scotland. We wish to appoint a contractor to remove the ex-Voith monopile and return the seabed to a condition approved by EMEC, the Crown Estate and Marine Scotland. Contractor’s scope of work shall include, but is not to be limited, to: - Removal of the section of monopile that stands proud of the seabed, cutting as close to the seabed as is reasonably practicable. - Make the removed top section of monopile available to EMEC on Hatston quay or agreed alternative for forensic decommissioning purposes. - Filling of the lower section of monopile with rock bags present on site. - Removal of the remainder of the rock bags, and any other detritus to the level required by Marine Scotland. - Final video survey of the site, and report detailing the “as left” status.
