Lease of a Wheeled Loader Levanger municipality

Levanger municipality will procure a new 16-18 tonne Wheeled Loader in the form of a 5-year lease agreement with an associated service agreement. The wheeled loader will be used for snow ploughing, sanding gritting and sweeping in Levanger city centre, edge cutting and setting plough markers along municipal roads in Levanger municipality. Lot 1: Levanger municipality will procure a new 16-18 tonne Wheeled Loader in the form of a 5-year lease agreement with an associated service agreement. The wheeled loader will be used for snow ploughing, sanding gritting and sweeping in Levanger city centre, edge cutting and setting plough markers along municipal roads in Levanger municipality. The contracting authority Innherred Anskaffelser KO (former Innherred Innkjøp) is an inter-municipal collaboration between Steinkjer, Inderøy, Snåsa, Verdal, and Levanger Municipalities that was established 01.01.2019. Inderøy Municipality takes care of the office municipality function, and is the formal employer for employees in Innherred Innkjøp. The aim of the collaboration is to make rational, responsible, and efficient procurements on behalf of the municipalities. We are assisting Levanger Municipality's Operations and Facilities department in this procurement. The contracting authority's contact person is: Espen Næss. Any questions are to be sent to the contact person via the tender management tool. There is to be no contact/communication regarding the tender contest with other persons at the contracting authority than the named contact person. Objective and scope of the procurement Levanger Municipality will procure a new wheeled loader and requests tenders for the lease of a 16-18 tonne wheeled loader for 5 years in accordance with the attached specifications including a 5-year service agreement. The contracting authority will have an option to buy out the wheeled loader at the end of the lease agreement. The buy-out price at the end of the lease must be stated. The contracting authority will also have the opportunity to buy out the wheeled loader before the lease agreement expires if desired by the contracting authority. We are unsure of what the price will be in the current market, but estimate a total cost of NOK 2,500,000 excluding VAT, for a total package for leasing and a service agreement for 5 years, as well as buy-out after the end of the lease agreement. There will also be an option to trade in the current wheeled loader upon delivery of the new wheeled loader. The estimated trade-in price must be stated.
