Adult Tier 2 Behavioural Weight Management Programme

Description

The service will be a tier 2 behavioural weight management programme for adults living with overweight or obesity. It will be a multi-component programme that aims to support individuals to reduce their energy intake and be more physically active. It will form part of a comprehensive, system- wide, local approach to preventing and treating obesity. The programme will show weight loss at 12 weeks and support the maintenance of a healthier weight at 6 and 12 months. The procurement process will be utilising the competitive process under the Provider Selection Regime 2023 for Light Touch services. For avoidance of doubt, the provisions of the Procurement Act 2023 DO NOT APPLY TO THIS TENDER. The service will commence on 1st April 2027 for 5 years with an estimated annual value of £97500 excluding VAT with a whole life value of £487500 excluding VAT.
