Digital Policy Support to Ukraine

Description

The objective of this project is to support the beneficiaries, i.e. the Ministry for Digital Transformation of Ukraine and the National Commission for the State Regulation of Communications and Informatization of Ukraine in implementing the commitments in the area of the digital economy under Appendix XVII-3 of the EU – Ukraine Association Agreement /DCFTA . Public authorities with a key role in Ukraine’s digital economy will be supported in strengthening their institutional capacity to formulate, adopt and implement digital economy policy. In particular, this assignment will support the beneficiaries in the preparation, adoption, implementation and enforcement of legislation under Appendix XVII-3 of the AA/DCFTA; will assist the beneficiaries in improving their capacity in formulating, adopting and following up on digital economy policy; and will assist in the improvement and strengthening of the capacity of public authorities with a key role in developing Ukraine’s digital economy. Lot 1: Digital Policy Support to Ukraine Subsequent to the initial contract resulting from the current tender procedure, new services or works consisting in the repetition of similar services or works, up to the estimated amount of 500000 EUR, may be entrusted to the initial contractor by negotiated procedure without prior publication of a contract notice, provided the new services or works are in conformity with the same basic project.
