NWUPC is establishing a multi-provider Framework Agreement on behalf of members of APUC, CPC, HEPCW, LUPC, NEUPC, NWUPC and SUPC for Residential Textiles, Starter Packs and Window Coverings as a successor to the current Soft Furnishings Framework Agreement. The Framework Agreement is divided into twenty-nine (29) lots as follows: Lot 1- Bedding and Bathroom Textiles and Associated Student Accommodation Products Lot 2- Kitchen Starter Packs and Associated Kitchenware Lots 1 and 2 are for national supply of the above stated requirements to current and future member institutions of the participating consortia across the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland. Lots 3-29 cover the supply, installation, and maintenance of Window Coverings on a regional basis. Please see the tender documents for the regional division of lots. This Framework Agreement will commence on 1st March 2022 for an initial period of twenty-four (24) months until 29th February 2024 with the option to extend the Agreement for two periods of twelve (12) months until 28th February 2026 subject to satisfactory Economic Operator performance. Lot 41351: Lot 1: Bedding and Bathroom Textiles and Associated Student Accommodation Products This lot will provide a compliant route for bedding and bathroom textiles for use in student residential accommodation & conferencing settings. Suppliers will be required, on a national basis, to supply, the following in a variety of fabrics and sizes: Bedding Textiles not limited to bedlinen & bedding packs; duvets, pillows, mattress and bedding protectors, blankets. Bathroom Textiles inc towels, face cloths, bathmats, and shower curtains; along with other associated accommodation products. Lot 41353: Lot 2: Kitchen Starter Packs and Associated Kitchenware This lot will provide a compliant route for kitchen starter packs and associated kitchenware for use in student residential accommodation & conferencing settings. Suppliers will be required, on a national basis, to supply, the following items both in packs & individually: Cooking aids inc but not limited to pans, boards, sheets, glassware, stoneware, ceramicware, knives, utensils. and storage Diningware including but not limited to cutlery, crockery, glass and plastic tableware. Kitchen linen. Lot 41355: Lots 3-29 Window Coverings (Regional Coverage) Supply only and supply & installation of a range of curtains and blinds inc but not limited to roller, venetian, & vertical blinds; black out, dim out, lined & non-lined curtains; and window films. Products will be provided in both occupied and unoccupied areas of a member institution’s estate including but not limited to student, residential and commercial accommodation, teaching areas including lecture theatres, offices, reception areas, corridors, and stairways. Lot 41548: Mandatory Questionnaire The following questionnaire must be completed by all Economic Operators before completing the individual Lot questionnaires. All questions are mandatory and must be completed. The Economic Operator only needs to complete the Mandatory Questionnaire once irrespective of the number of lots you are bidding for.
