Description
The Forestry Commission has awarded a framework for the delivery of roadside vegetation management through Lots covering the counties of Somerset, Devon & Cornwall. The framework will last upto a maximum of four years. It is anticipated that this will be delivered by a tractor mounted side-arm flail or similar, with a head width of a minimum of 1.5m. The work will include cutting of hedges and verges alongside public roads as well as the roadside vegetation along the internal forest roads. FC will award each lot to a single supplier. There are 5 lots: Lot 1Cornwall Lot 2North Devon Lot 3South Devon Lot 4Quantocks & Exmoor Lot 5East Devon
