Establishment of a Multi Supplier Framework of Specialist Contractors using the Open Procedure for HVAC Installations in UCC & HVAC Installations to 6 no Rooms in Existing Buildings in UCC

UCC hereby issues this information in accordance with the requirements of EC directive 2004/18/EEC (open procedure) to complete HVAC Installations to 6 no Rooms in existing buildings in UCC Main Campus and to establish a multi supplier framework of Specialist Contractors for HVAC Installations in UCC. The initial contract comprises HVAC Ventilation installations to 6 no rooms in existing buildings on the main UCC campus. These works will be undertaken in 2022 on a phased basis. The University plans to complete this project on a phased basis over 12 months comprising 3 no phases. The contractor is to allow for the installation of two rooms per phase. On completion of phase 1 - returning a few weeks later to do the next two rooms as funding permits. UCC will appoint an independent candidate to act as PSDP for the initial contract. For this project UCC will fulfil the role of Project Supervisor Construction Stage (PSCS) as per the Health and Safety and Welfare at Work Regulations. The HVAC Contractor shall provide a Health & Safety Coordinator on site to fulfil this Health & Safety role when they are the only contractor working on the site and as requested by UCC Project Manager The contractor is to allow for full balancing, testing & commissioning of the systems.
