WINDOW REPLACEMENT WORKS

Description

The University seeks to engage suppliers capable of delivering innovative and high-quality solutions tailored to meet the specific needs of this project for the replacement of single glazed windows with modern, energy efficient units in our Ripon Wing building. The expectation is that this exercise will establish a collaborative partnership that enhances efficiency, sustainability, and value for money while aligning with the strategic objectives of the University. The vision of the project is the replacement of existing “crittal” windows and timber frames with a solution sympathetic to the historic nature of the building and its surroundings, matching existing glazing patterns where possible. This includes existing access doors and high-level emergency egress doors. A section of historic stained glass in an existing window will need to be retained within any new solution. The work is to be carried out in a single continuous operation unless a timetabling conflict dictates otherwise.
