Description

Award via the Crown Commercial Service RM6259 Vertical Application Solutions. Lot 1: The Scottish Boundary Commissions (SBC) require software to analyse GIS (geographical information systems) data. This includes: using different types of background maps; calculating the number of electors in an area; drafting alternative electoral boundaries for consultation; drawing final recommendations for new constituencies; and sharing information for the public to easily access. Using GIS software is an essential part of the Boundary Commissions work. The ArcGIS Online and Sweet licences will allow SBC to analyse data, produce accurate boundary data and create maps of new boundaries.
