Mandal svømmehall stod ferdig i 1988 med et 25 x 12,5 m idrettsbasseng og et 12,5 x 8 m terapibasseng. Svømmehallen er nedslitt og planlegges oppgradert. Dette vil bli utført i flere trinn med renovering av begge stålbassengene som egen entreprise. Kontrakten som skal inngås er en totalentreprise etter NS 8407:2011 (Alminnelige kontraktsbestemmelser for totalentrepriser).
