B961 - MEP Engineer for the Grand Pavilion Re-development

Description

Contract Awarded in support of the Main Construction Contract for the Grand Pavilion Porthcawl, to fulfil the requirement for an MEP Engineer to specifically review the Contractor’s Proposals and monitor compliance with the Employer’s Requirements, answer any queries/comment on any proposed changes or deviations from the Employer’s Requirements and check that the functionality expected by the Employer will be achieved. The MEP Engineer working with the appointed Clerk of Works will inspect specific elements of install and witness the testing and commissioning prior to Practical Completion. The Engineer may also be called on to help resolve any issues during the Defects Liability Period.This Contract Award is made as a result of a Direct Award permitted by the SEWTAPS Framework Agreement Lot 1, SEWTAPS-2025.02056 refers.
