Deprivation of Liberty Assessments

Description

This notice marks the intention to follow the Most Suitable Provider process under PSR Wales. The Health Board wish to commission a maximum of 180 assessments to reduce the DoLS backlog, between December 2025 and March 2026. The service is to include DoLS Best Interests Assessors (BIA's) and the use of a s12 Doctor. The assessments need to be completed within one week of allocation and the patient must still be in hospital at time of authorisation. Lot 1: This notice is an intention to follow the most Suitable Provider Process under PSR Wales. The 14 day standstill period will start on the 12th November 2025 and end on the 26th November 2025 at 23:59pm
