MRI upgrade

Description

The “BRIC2” 3-T MRI brain scanner was installed at the Edinburgh Imaging Facility RIE in 2016. Some key components of the system now require upgrade to leverage the latest imaging techniques. Specifically, the electronic control systems that interface with the magnetic field gradient amplifiers and radio frequency systems, and the computational platform required to generate and reconstruct images need to be updated.
