Description

The framework intends to provide a national solution that offers customers a range of cleaning services including general cleaning, deep and specialist cleaning, and decontamination systems and services. The framework was split into the following Lots: • Lot 1 - General Cleaning Services • Lot 2 - Deep and Specialist Cleaning Services • Lot 3A - HPV Decontamination Systems • Lot 3B - UVC Decontamination Systems • Lot 3C - HPV Decontamination Services • Lot 3D - UVC Decontamination Services Lots 1, 2, 3C and 3D were to be awarded on a regional basis. Lots 3A and 3B on a national basis. However, Lots 3A, 3B, 3C and 3D have not been awarded as a result of this procurement. Lot 1: Lot 1 - General Cleaning Services This Lot covers general cleaning services, including but not limited to: • The washing, buffing, mopping, sweeping and vacuuming of floors • The cleaning and vacuuming of mats and matwells • The cleaning of walls including paintwork, doors, door frames, window frames, and similar related items • The cleaning of furniture, fixtures and fittings including vertical and horizontal services, tables, desks, chairs, filing cabinets, cupboards, lockers, shelves, ledges, skirting boards, radiators, pipes, fire extinguishers, light switches, handrails, balustrades, and any other similar related items • The cleaning of internal glazing including mirrors, windows, glass doors and partitions • The cleaning of windows externally and cleaning of external areas • The cleaning of basins and general fittings including wash and hand basins, splashbacks, pipes, plugs, sink units, taps, drinking fountains, shower fittings, soap dispensers, towel dispensers and cabinets, hand dryers, toilet roll holders, sanitary towel disposal units, and any other similar related items • The cleaning of toilets including urinal channels and bowls, WC pans, seats, seat hinges, handles, chains, and cubicle walls • The internal and external cleaning of microwave ovens, refrigerators , cookers and any other similar related items • The emptying and cleansing of waste bins • The wiping and sanitising of phones and any other similar related items • The polish of bright metal work • Ad-hoc deep and specialist cleaning services are permitted under Lot 1 - General Cleaning when delivered as part of a wider general cleaning contract providing that the majority of cleaning services provided as part of the contract fall within the scope of general cleaning services. For the avoidance of doubt, any service that falls under the scope of 'general cleaning' is permissible within Lot 1 of this Framework. Lot 2: Lot 2 - Deep and Specialist Cleaning Services This Lot covers deep and specialist cleaning services, including but not limited to: • Ambulance deep cleaning and 'make ready' services • Biohazard cleaning • Bird dropping removal • Carpet and upholstery deep cleaning • Chewing gum removal • Flood damage cleanup • Graffiti removal • Healthcare cleaning • Infection control • Kitchen deep cleaning • Kitchen ventilation cleaning • Odour removal • Police and prison cell cleaning • Post-viral deep cleaning • Sewage clean-up • Sharps removals • Trauma cleaning • Void property cleaning • Washroom deep cleaning • Associated deep and specialist cleaning services including for example, bacteria / hygiene assessments. For the avoidance of doubt, any relevant service that falls under the scope of 'deep and specialist cleaning' is permissible within Lot 2 of this Framework. For example, house clearances may fall within the scope of this Lot when required as part of a wider 'void property cleaning' service. Lot 3A: Lot 3A - Hydrogen Peroxide Vapour (HPV) Decontamination Systems The supply of Hydrogen Peroxide Vapour (HPV) decontamination systems on a national basis. Lot 3B: Lot 3B - Ultraviolet-C (UV-C) Decontamination Systems The supply of Ultraviolet-C (UVC) decontamination systems on a national basis. Lot 3C: Lot 3C - Hydrogen Peroxide Vapour (HPV) Decontamination Services The provision of decontamination services using Hydrogen Peroxide Vapour (HPV) decontamination systems on a regional basis. Lot 3D: Lot 3D - Ultraviolet-C (UV-C) Decontamination Services The provision of decontamination services using Ultraviolet-C (UVC) decontamination systems on a regional basis.
