Description

Bus shelter concession contract, for supply, installation and management of bus shelters and advertising. Within and under the control of the London Borough of Camden. The London Borough of Camden (LBC) is inviting tenders for a bus shelter concession contract, for bus shelters under the control and within the boundary of the borough. LBC are seeking to appoint a single provider to deliver an end to end service including media sales, bus shelter supply and installation and maintenance as detailed in the Instructions to Tenderers (ITT) and associated documents, this includes: — supply and installation of bus shelters, including digital and non-digital commercial advertising panels and paper council message panels, — maintenance of bus shelters and advertising panels. There are approximately 110 sites currently covered by this contract, full details of planning approvals are included in the contract pack. Please note that this is a single stage tender and tenderers must pass all selection questions as set out in the instruction to tenderers. In addition to this, the Authority requires tenderers to demonstrate a minimum turnover for the each of the last 2 years of 2 500 000 GBP. Tenderers are also required to demonstrate that their current ratio and acid test/liquidity ratio were 0.8 or above for the last 2 years. Full details are shown in the ITT. In order to access the tender documentation tenderers must register on EU Supply via the following link: https://lbcamden.eu-supply.com/login.asp?B=LBCAMDEN Once registered please e-mail your registered company name/contact to the following e-mail address, you will then be sent an invitation to tender. paula.martin@camden.gov.uk and stephen.black@camden.gov.uk LBC reserves the right to amend the scope of the contract to increase or reduce the number of sites and/or include small format digital and non digital advertising panels, council information panels and/or automatic public conveniences, at any time during the procurement process, or over the term of the resulting contracts to provide for additional requirements. The procurement process will comprise of 2 variants: Variant 1 includes the option for LBC to capital fund bus shelters; Variant 2 requires the successful tenderer to fund all equipment. Tenderers are required to bid on both variants and the LBC reserve the right to award their preferred variant after tender evaluation is completed. Full details are shown in the ITT. The successful provider is required to a guaranteed revenue and an excess profit share. The contract shall be awarded for a period of 10 years with an additional 5 optional extensions of 1 year each.
