Repair of Heat & Vent Air Conditioning (HVAC) Units and Associated Consumables for S Stock, London Underground Rolling Stock

Description

This procurement is for the repair of Heat & Vent Air Conditioning (HVAC) Units and Associated Consumables for S Stock, London Underground Rolling Stock. The HVAC units are used in the Cab and Saloon to provide a comfortable environment to both driver and passengers during all seasons. The Total amount is circa £1,944,410. Spend is not committed and the repairs and associated consumables will be according to requirement. The justification for awarding this proposed contract is in accordance with the Procurement Act 2023 Direct Award and is compliant with Section 41.6,Schedule 5, Paragraph 7 which states: The public contract concerns the supply of goods, services or works by the existing supplier which are intended as an extension to, or partial replacement of, existing goods, services or works in circumstances where- (a) a change in supplier would result in the contracting authority receiving goods, services or works that are different from, or incompatible with, the existing goods, services or works, and (b)the difference or incompatibility would result in disproportionate technical difficulties in operation or maintenance. ## Contract award
