Description

IE have a requirement for Arboricultural Consultancy Services for the provision of surveys, expert advice and management plans for trees and vegetation on and bordering Irish Rail property, including, but not limited to reviewing the full lifecycle of species from a safety, risk identification, vegetation management, environmental and species health perspective. To carry out this role requires a minimum level of training in arboricultural studies/forestry management and IÉ are also considering membership of specific professional bodies such as: • Arboricultural Association UK (Ireland branch) - Professional Level Membership and/or • Society of Irish Foresters – Technical Level Membership This is a qualification system: companies can apply for appointment to the qualification system at any time throughout the life of the qualification system i.e. up until the expiry of the qualification system - the closing date for PQQ submissions. In order to participate candidates must download, complete and return the Pre-qualification Questionnaire “PQQ” attached to this notice. To establish the QS applicants need to complete and submit their PQQ response by 1st November 2023 for initial set up but PQQ’s can be returned over the duration Qualification System. You will have to be registered with etenders site before you will be able to register your interest and download the PQQ. Irish Rail will assess each PQQ based on the pre-determined selection criteria listed in the PQQ and only qualified candidates will be appointed to the Qualification system.
