Managed Stations ATM Services

Description

Network Rail currently operates under an established contract with an ATM Supplier, which delivers ATM services across stations within the Network Rail managed estate. These services are due to be reprocured and transitioned under a new Call-Off Agreement before the end of March 2028. In line with the Government’s rail reform programme, and the proposed transition toward a unified structure under Great British Railways (GBR), Network Rail and certain Train Operating Companies (TOCs) are expected to be brought together under a single organisational framework. As part of this transition, the new Call-Off Agreement shall provide a mechanism for stations currently operated by TOCs to access and manage ATM services through this rail industry contractual arrangement. This approach enables the railway to benefit from a consistent, centrally managed ATM service offering, aligned with the wider strategic direction of industry consolidation under GBR. The existing ATMs installed across the Network Rail estate, and any in-scope TOC-franchised stations, are open to join this new Call-Off Agreement on expiry of their existing Agreements. Network Rail is seeking to establish a Call-Off Agreement with a suitable Supplier to manage, operate, and maintain ATM and currency services for a period of five (5) years with two 12-month extension options on expiry (totalling a maximum of 7 years). The new Call-Off Agreement will commence 01 April 2028.
