Principal Designer Services (CDM) for the works to modernise Warrington Fire Station - CPA/SPU/2877F-W

Description

Principal Designer (CDM) services to Cheshire Fire and Rescue Authority who have identified a need to modernise their existing fire stations at Warrington & Ellesmere Port. The projects envisage the partial demolition of the unused elements of the buildings and a heavy refurbishment of the remaining elements. The project has commenced design with the appointment of a design team and the progression of RIBA Stage 1 Designs, which are nearing completion. The works on each site will be completed in phases as it is a requirement that the stations remain fully operational throughout the works. . The appointed consultant will be required to enter into a CDM Regulations Principal Designer Professional Services Contract as published by the RIBA supplemented by the CFA Special Terms and Conditions of Contract. While we will be conducting this as a single Request for Quote Process and evaluation will result in a single supplier being identified – we will be awarding as 2 separate contracts at the conclusion of this Procurement Process , 1 for each Fire Station. (Warrington and Ellesmere Port). This contract record is for: Principal Designer CDM Services at Warrington Fire Station - CPA/SPU/2877F-W The fixed contract value is £10,900, the additional value shown is for any additional activities instructed at timecharge rates.
