NHS SY ICB - Rotherham Place - RDaSH Mental Health Services

Description

To provide Mental Health and Learning Disabilities Services to the population of Barnsley, Doncaster, Rotherham and Sheffield. The contract also includes- Doncaster City Council and NHS Nottingham & Nottinghamshire ICB. Lot 1: Our NHS provider currently holds the mental health services (acute and community) and Physical Health Community services (predominant for Doncaster and cross boundary cover). In line with Statutory Guidance, we have considered whether any other providers could realistically deliver these services. There are no alternative provider with the necessary established infrastructure - covering staffing, estate capacity, and NHS operational experience - to deliver the combination of services under these contracts at the requires scale and geographical footprint. In addition, this contract is commissioned as a single, integrated package of services. Splitting individual services for separate commissioning would present a significant risk of destabilising the remainder of the contract and would require a level of procurement and mobilisation resource disproportionate to any potential benefits for our population.<br/><br/>The contract award has been made following the direct award process A of the Provider Selection Regime.<br/><br/>The lifetime value of the contract is £863,700,000. This will , however, be subject to change as the contract will be adjusted on an annual basis in line with the methodology outlined in the National Payment Guidance to account for uplift and pay awards.<br/><br/>The contract will run from 01/04/2025 to 31/03/2030.
