ANDBC Tender for Artificial Sports Surface Replacement

Description

Tenders are sought by Ards and North Down Borough Council (ANDBC) for the provision of Artificial Sports Surface Replacement. ANDBC own a number of artificial sports pitches across the Borough. Of these, the artificial turf surfaces of 9no. sand dressed tennis courts (4no. at Ward Park and 2no. at Comber Leisure Centre, and 3no. at Commons, Donaghadee) are deemed to be at the end of their serviceable life and are required to be replaced. Additionally, 3no. tennis courts located at Council’s Helens Bay Tennis Facility, which are currently of tarmacadam surface, are required to be renovated and converted to a 2G sand filled surface. Also, the existing 3G Multi-Use Games Area at Bangor Aurora Leisure Centre has reached the end of its operational lifespan and now requires full replacement. To fulfil this requirement ANDBC wishes to appoint a competent and reliable Contractor to carry out the necessary works.
